Sunday 8th August 2010   Errol Circular

Grade C: 10 miles.  4.5 hours. Meet/Time:  LPRCP at 0900 a.m. or at public CP next to Errol Church at 1030 a.m. Map/Ref 53/NO:253230.  Description:  An easy walk through Carse of Gowrie and along the north shore of the Tay.  Ascent: negligible.  No dogs.Leader: David Lloyd.  Phone 01383 621640.  Mobile 07816 067 202. 

Sunday 22nd August 2010     Ben Vorlich

Grade A:  6 miles. 5 hours.  Meet/time:  LPRCP 0830 a.m. or at Ardvorlich, South Loch Earn road at 1030 a.m.  Map/Ref 51/NN:633232. Description:  A hill walk starting on a good track, then narrower and tracks on grassy hillsides along the River Vorlich.  The north ridge of the mountain is a steeper climb.  Return via the Bealach an Dubh Chorain and Coire Buidhe to the original path.  Ascent: 900m.  No dogs.Leader: Grant Robertson. Saturday 4th September    Kings Seat Hill Circuit

Grade B+: 9 miles. 5.5 hours.  Meet/time: LPRCP 0930 a.m. or at Mill Glen Car Park at 1015 a.m.  Map/Ref 58/NS:914974.  Description: Blackford path to col between Andrew Gannel Hill and Kings Seat Hill.  Pick up Burn of Sorrow and follow down to Dollar Glen and then to Dollar.  Return to Tillicoultry either by hill road, Devonway or bus.  Ascent: 450m.  No dogs.Leader: Alan Paul. Saturday 18th September   Loch Turret

Grade B: 13 miles. 5.5 hours.  Meet/time: LPRCP at 0845 a.m. or at car park at the dam at 1000 a.m. Map/Ref 52/NN:822265. Description:  Good tracks and paths following the Loch then steep slope following track over Auchnafree Hill and circular route back to car park.  Can be shortened to C+ by walking only to the end of the loch and return.
